The Heart Behind

Faithfully Her Wellness

I believe true wellness begins in the heart. My mission is to help women faithfully steward themselves through every season of life by renewing their minds, building sustainable habits, and embracing the woman God is calling them to become.

Hi I'm Monashay

My Story

I Was Looking for Purpose in All the Wrong Places

For a long time, I didn't understand my purpose or why I was here.

If I'm being honest, there were seasons when life felt meaningless. I knew there had to be more, but I didn't know where to find it.

So I started looking for fulfillment in things outside of myself.

I thought maybe if I lost the weight, I'd finally feel confident.

Maybe if I had more control over my life, I'd feel secure.

Maybe if I stayed busy, distracted myself, or chased temporary highs through drinking, partying, and other external things, I could avoid the emptiness I felt inside.

But no matter what I achieved or pursued, the void remained.

Because what I was searching for wasn't confidence.

It wasn't control.

And it wasn't found in any accomplishment.

What I was really searching for was identity.

I didn't fully understand who I was, whose I was, or the purpose God had created me for.

And until I began discovering those things, nothing else could truly satisfy what my soul was longing for.

The Realization That Changed Everything

"I wasn't actually looking

for a smaller body.

I was looking for purpose."

For years, I thought the answer was somewhere outside of me.

I thought if I could change my body, achieve more, gain more control, or finally become the version of myself I was striving to be, I'd feel whole.

But God began showing me something I couldn't see before.

The void I was trying to fill wasn't a wellness problem.

It was an identity problem.

I didn't need another accomplishment.

I needed to understand who I was in Him.

And once I began discovering my identity in Christ, everything else started to change.

Not overnight.

But little by little, God began healing areas of my life that went far deeper than my physical health.

What started as a search for purpose became a journey of healing, faith, stewardship, and transformation.

The Shift That Changed Everything

As my relationship with God deepened, my perspective on wellness began to change.

I started to realize that many of the struggles I had been facing weren't rooted in a lack of discipline.

They were rooted in the way I saw myself.

For so long, I had been trying to earn confidence, prove my worth, and create a sense of purpose through external things.

But God was inviting me into something deeper.

He was teaching me that my identity wasn't something I had to achieve.

It was something I had to receive.

As I began renewing my mind and anchoring my identity in Christ, my approach to wellness started to change too.

I stopped viewing wellness as punishment.
I stopped tying my worth to my performance.
I stopped believing that lasting change would come from striving harder.

Instead, I began learning how to faithfully steward myself — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Then motherhood became the true test of everything God had been teaching me.

The routines that once worked no longer fit my life. My priorities shifted, my capacity changed, and I quickly realized I couldn't approach this new season the way I had approached the last one.

That's when I discovered that faithful stewardship isn't about clinging to old routines or striving to get back to a previous version of yourself. It's about asking, "How can I faithfully care for the woman God is calling me to be today?"

That realization transformed everything.

What once felt like a constant battle became an opportunity for growth — not because life suddenly became easier, but because I was finally building my life from a foundation of faith rather than fear.

That journey continues to shape the way I live, the way I grow, and the way I serve others today.

Wellness is more spiritual than most people realize.

Through my own journey, I discovered something that completely changed the way I view wellness.

Many of the struggles we face aren't actually about food, workouts, or willpower.

They're often rooted in something much deeper:

• Our identity

• The beliefs we hold

• Unhealed wounds

• The habits we've formed

• Our relationship with God

For years, I believed wellness was about changing my body.

But God showed me that true transformation begins long before we ever see physical results.

It begins in the heart.

Because lasting change isn't simply about learning what to do.

It's about becoming the kind of woman who genuinely desires to faithfully steward the life God has entrusted to her.

When your heart begins to change, your choices begin to change.

You no longer care for yourself because you're trying to earn worth or prove something.

You care for yourself because you recognize your life, your body, and your health are gifts worth stewarding.

Workouts, nutrition, and healthy habits matter. But they were never meant to transform your identity. They're simply tools that support the woman you're becoming.

The real work is cultivating a heart that desires faithful stewardship.

When identity is rooted in Christ, confidence looks different.

When stewardship replaces striving, wellness becomes sustainable.

And when we begin viewing wellness through a spiritual lens, we stop pursuing temporary results and start building a lifetime of living well.

That's the journey I'm passionate about.

And it's the journey I feel called to walk alongside other women as they faithfully become who God created them to be.

Beyond the Brand

A few things that make me, me

My Foundation

Jesus is the center of everything I do. My faith shapes the way I live, lead, and serve others.

You'll Usually Find Me...

Reading, watching TV, laughing with my husband, dancing around the house with my son, spending time with my family or reflecting on what God is teaching me in my current season.

Favorite Place

Haha, my house because it is truly my safe space. I am a homebody. It's nice to get out the house but I always love getting back to my checkpoint!

Favorite Scripture

Right now it's "This is my command — be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." — Joshua 1:9. NLT

What I'm Most Passionate About

Helping women discover that they are capable of more than they realize and that lasting transformation is possible when healing comes first.

A Random Fact About Me

I love a good game night and I love playing co-op PS5 games with my husband. My favorite PS5 game is "It Takes Two"

A Few Things I Believe

✨ Wellness is more spiritual than most people realize.

✨ Healing matters more than willpower.

✨ Stewardship is an act of worship.

✨ Growth often begins where comfort ends.

What I'm Currently Learning

When there is God's will, there is a way.

I'm learning to trust that if God is leading me into a new season,

He will also provide everything I need to walk through it.

I don't have to have all the answers — I just have to keep

taking the next faithful step.

What My Life Looks Like Today

My life isn't perfect these days — but it's peaceful, and I'll take that.

I used to think faithful stewardship meant nailing some ideal routine.

Now I know it's really just about honoring God in the small, ordinary moments — the ones that don't look impressive to anyone but matter anyway.

Most days you'll find me easing into quiet mornings with Jesus, going on walks with my family, lifting weights in a way that actually works for this season of life, writing things I hope land in someone's heart, and slowly figuring out what it means to become the woman God made me to be.

I'm still growing. Still learning. Still becoming.

And honestly? I wouldn't want it any other way.

A Note to the Woman I Used to Be

To the woman who feels disconnected, overwhelmed, and exhausted from trying to carry it all alone...

I see you.

I know what it's like to believe that if you could just try harder, be more disciplined, or finally get it together, you'd become the woman you're meant to be.

But healing didn't begin for me when I figured everything out.

It began the moment I surrendered.

When I stopped striving to earn my worth and started trusting God with the pieces of my heart I'd been white-knuckling, something shifted. The weight I had been carrying became lighter — not because life got easier, but because I was no longer carrying it alone.

That's where my true healing began.

If you find yourself in that place today, I want you to know: there is hope.

You don't have to have all the answers before you begin. You don't have to become someone else before you're worthy of caring for yourself.

Just take the next faithful step.

God isn't asking you to have it all together — He's inviting you to trust Him as He transforms you from the inside out.

And if our paths cross along the way, it would be an honor to walk alongside you.
